My bro. called and invited us all to come to the Taylor Swift concert. Dar was going to be in TX so what the hey they kids and I planned on heading out. A couple days before, we learned we had the wrong weekend for TX so Dar got to go with us!! He was way excited especially since he figured he could sneak in a Dodger game!

Jeff had a suite and that is a great way to watch a concert. There were plenty of screaming and dancing but my boys enjoyed it! She is a great performer and had plenty of costume changes! It was a great time... Thanks Jeff and Lisa!

Goodbye to Sally

After returning home from LA today (more on that later) we found Conners dear Sally (the rat) had passed away. After some tears and a little burial in the back yard she is gone but not forgotten. I took this picture at the haunted mansion at Disneyland a few weeks ago and thought it went well with the occasion.

Music is our life

We love music. Darin is a music guru, he is the one I always ask, "Who sings this?" His love for music is definitely catching on to our kids. Every long drive usually has a few break out song moments where we all sing and blast the radio. Enjoy!!

Game night!

This year my s.i.l. bought me the Twilight AND New Moon board game. I made Darin play with me one night and honestly is was not that exciting and I thought kinda dumb but then I played with 4 of my preteen nieces during Christmas break and the game became much more exciting and fun. I guess the age makes the game..... A couple of weeks ago Brandi and Chris came over for games and after we played Battle of the sexes we whipped out new moon. This time it was fun because the men always complain about our obsession with the books but they new quite a few answers that had to do with the movie; some were like the color of Bellas dress or a line from the movie. It just proved that Twilight is not just for girls. Thanks guys for a fun night.

One morning Dar got the kids ready for the day while i was out and about and this is how he did Nics hair. She loved it and we all thought it was super cute. She will do anything to look beautiful for her daddy. They went on a date a few weeks ago. Mom took the boys to a birthday party so she got to go see Princess and the Frog with Dar. She wore her jeans because her daddy loves them on her and we curled her hair. Daddy taught her that boys were to open the door for her and she picked up on that real quick and reminded her daddy to open all her doors. She reminded me again yesterday that Daddy will have two wives when he is older, when i asked who the other one will be she said, "ME." She has good taste!!

Oops it happened again.. this time to Con. Once again one of my children did not head my advice to stay in the car and wait but insisted on walking home from the mail box because mom was talking to someone and he couldn't wait. Not 20 feet from the car he trips on the jacket that is tied around his waist and goes down on his face. Oh well one more lesson learned!!
